Luxury Treehouse - Book Now!

Our luxury 'Woodman's Treehouse' has progressed really well since our last newsletter. We really are taking luxury glamping to a new level!

Boardwalk to the treehouse

The roof is now on and will be completely watertight by the time you read this. All of the walls are up and insulated, and the exterior cladding is partly completed. The windows go in this week too - and by that I mean windows in the walls, ceiling and the floor! The double-ended copper bath has arrived and is in pride of place in its picture window by the oak tree. The sauna is built on the roof next to the hot tub - which is also in place ready for plumbing-in, up on the private roof spa.

The next really big moment will be taking away the temporary 'parachute' working shelter which has been keeping us dry since January. I can't wait to properly see the huge oak canopy above - and to make the moment perfect the leaves have now come out.

There is still a lot to do - mainly fitting out the interior and getting the services installed. On the rear deck we've made a start on the high level tree shower, and the pizza oven has arrived so we can now build the outside kitchen. Don't worry - there is another fully fitted kitchen inside too!

Springtime Growth and Tree Climbing

Of course, life goes on in the woods apart from building the new treehouse. Not least, we have been busy running our courses and welcoming guests to all our other glamping spaces. Naturally, winter maintenance has kept us busy too but - thankfully - that's all but complete now. The woods are really coming into leaf with everything growing before our eyes. In amongst all of that, Adam has been doing a great job making safe any dead or dangerous branches. That's a job which includes climbing to some eye watering heights - and I have to say rather him than me. Hats off to him!
