Bodger is a shepherd’s hut (made of wood, on wheels) with a king-sized bed, its own toilet and shower, positioned under the oak trees looking down over the pond. Please be aware that the bed is against the wall on one side and at the top and bottom, and therefore Bodger isn’t suitable for very tall guests.
(Bodger is smaller than our other tented spaces, measuring 12.8ft x 6.5 ft internally. Guests say it’s nice and cosy, but we don’t want the smaller size to be a surprise to anyone.)
Bodger is available at £278 for two week nights / £417 for weekends.
Inside Bodger you’ll find a king sized bed, linen, a down duvet and pillows. There are lights, electricity sockets and an electric blanket. There’s a log burner to quickly heat the whole hut; and there is a chair and a heated towel rail with white bath towels. In addition to the electric lighting there are glass candle lanterns for those that prefer candle light.
Outside, there is a BBQ that doubles as a fire brazier, a Morso wood fired pizza oven, a refrigerator with ice box, a washing-up sink with hot and cold mains drinking water, your own set of crockery, glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils etc, and a gas cooking ring with kettle. There are two comfortable all-weather camping chairs and a hammock under the trees for those lazy summer afternoons, and a large parasol for all weather al fresco living.
Just off your deck you will find your own private piping hot ‘tree shower’, a proper flushing toilet and washbasin with hot and cold (mains/drinking) water. We provide complimentary ‘Faith In Nature’ tea tree shampoo, conditioner and soap.
